Stephen and Max S. invited all the Papoose kids and dads to their home in Westlake Village for an evening of pizza, arts and crafts, cookie cake, and musical accompaniment!  The kids enjoyed dinner and then decorated mini-treasure boxes.

Next, everyone sang happy birthday to Emily, Max E., Natalie M., and Taylor as part of our new "Birthdays of the Month" tradition.  Stephen played piano too -- who ever knew?!?

We wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving, and see you in December!

The Papoose kids and dads met at the Conejo YMCA in Moorpark for a night of fun by an indoor campfire.  Everyone made Froot Loop necklaces (which were mostly devoured by the end of the evening).  We then made s'mores out of graham crackers, chocolate, and marshmallows (also gone pretty quickly!).

Next, Chrissy, Jenna, and Peter from our Triunfo YMCA taught us the "Humba Humba" song.  We also sang "The Wheels on the Bus" and made the sound of rain with our hands and feet.  Jenna read us a story, followed by a "Good Night" book read by Alan and Taylor.  All of this was good practice for our Indian Guide and Princess campouts in a year or two!
